WORK
Aesthetic dentist to the stars, Dr Zak Schabort, founded The Cosmetic And Dental Emporium at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town in 2010. Since then the brand has grown from strength to strength, with over 20 multidisciplinary practitioners in 6 practices across the country.
Dr Zak specialises in the field of aesthetic dentistry and has trained both locally and abroad. He is the president of the South African Soft Surgery Institute and is widely known for training medical doctors wishing to establish themselves in the aesthetic industry with cutting-edge aesthetic beauty techniques.
Dr Zak is more than just a cosmetic dentist and director. He aims to share his knowledge and research with the world by offering training sessions to other doctors via his very own training academy, distribution of his products, public speaking, writing, and by his online series Revenge Makeover SA.
In the words of Zak in regards to his practice, “I believe aesthetics lies in enhancing people, not creating them. I empower our practitioners with knowledge, and I teach natural outcomes so people can look their best. Importantly, the CDE doesn’t just treat, but rather educates people to make informed choices. So they may understand and reach their full potential”
